EXHIBITION SYNOPSIS

伪君子——四人作品展

在常态的社会里，“正人君子”必是受人赞誉的，是通用标准。但若用这个词形容艺术家，恐怕就小小的否定了他的艺术才情。所以在艺术上不但要作“君子”还要作有自我更新能力的“伪君子”。此次四位艺术家的作品虽然表面上冒似君子，但是在对经典与标准的执行背后他们在形式﹑内容和语言等方面都作了更多个人化的实验和拓展。

HYPOCRITE

In a normal society, the "gentleman" must be praised, it's the universal standard. However, using this word to describe an artist I am afraid it's a little denial of his artistic talent. So, an artist must not only to be a "gentleman" but also a self-renewal "hypocrite". Although the four artists in this exhibition look like gentleman, but behind the implementation of the classic and standard, they have made a more personal experiment and expand in the aspects of the form, content and language.
